Day 1: Addis Ababa to Lalibela
In the morning, take a flight from Addis Ababa to Lalibela. Upon arrival, you will be transferred to your hotel and begin exploring the first group of Lalibela’s remarkable rock-hewn churches. These masterpieces, carved entirely from solid rock in the 12th century, include Bet Medhane Alem, Bet Maryam, Bet Meskel, and Bet Danaghel. Each church offers a glimpse into Ethiopia’s deep spiritual history and architectural brilliance.
Overnight stay at Sora Lodge or a similar hotel.

Day 2: Lalibela to Addis Ababa
After breakfast, continue your exploration with a visit to the second group of churches, including the famous Bet Giyorgis (St. George Church), the most iconic and photographed monument in Ethiopia. Depending on the time, you may also visit a local market or enjoy a traditional Ethiopian coffee ceremony before your afternoon flight back to Addis Ababa.
This marks the end of your memorable Lalibela experience.
