Day Trip to BLUE NILE GORGE

Day trip to DEBREZYT
Depart from Addis for a short drive to Debre Zeit, home to several crater lakes and a popular weekend getaway spot for Addis Ababa residents. Spend the day viewing the lakes or going for a modest hike (circling Lake Hora takes 1 ½ hour). Bird viewing is quite common in this area. There are several lakeside establishments for lunch and even a spa. Return to Addis Ababa in, late afternoon.
